A pretty little ring with lots of graphic punch, just three circles and a swoosh. Of course the circles are filled with twinkling antique diamonds and the swoosh is platinum worked over yellow gold. .35ctw, ca. 1915
M1850 $725
Extensive use of milgrain on the filigree structure of this ring gives it an almost fluffy feel, softly playing with light and shadow. A .25ct diamond nestles in the middle, defined by a crisp hexagonal panel for contrast. Feminine and warm, ca.1935.
M1848 $825
Smooth and pretty, with plenty of detail. A strong scrollwork under gallery supports a .35ct diamond and stylish deco sapphire accents. 18k white gold ca.1935.
M1798 $1,625
This ring holds the oldest diamond we have ever had the pleasure to enjoy in the shop. The center .71ct diamond was cut in the 18th century, (so yes, it truly could have appeared in Marie's court) It is a strikingly simple "table cut", which holds close to the natural shape of the raw crystal. It now resides in a minimalist Victorian mounting, flanked by a pair of chunky old mine cut stones. An exceptional and rare ring for lovers of early diamond cuts. 18K gold and platinum. Stone ca.1780, ring ca.1900.
M1648 $3,750
A sweet and petite platinum filigree ring with accent diamonds as well as engraved detail, all in a tidy romantic little package. The center diamond is a pretty .45ct old European cut of exceptionally good color. Ca. 1920
M1846 $8,200
A sweet and petite platinum filigree ring with accent diamonds as well as engraved detail, all in a tidy romantic little package. The center diamond is a pretty .45ct old European cut of exceptionally good color. Ca. 1920
M1840 $2,450
One of our current favorites. A platinum panel top that is in perfect balance. Crisply detailed but not too flashy, with openwork, engraving, accent baguettes, and great architecture. The center stone is over half a carat, but the entire ring still lays smooth and close to the hand. Ca.1930
M1831 $3,850
This beautiful twinkly ring has juicy sweet center of precious topaz. Two carats of old European cut diamonds dance around, all held in rose gold and platinum. Warm and wonderful. Ca.1900
MGM29 $4,800
We can only try to capture the splendid detail of this ring with words and pictures. A ribbon of sapphires runs around the 3 center stones, through diamond set loops and flourishes. Total weight on the three main stones is 1.60cts. All platinum, Ca. 1910, and really, just crazy good looking on the hand.
M1841 $5,800
As romantic as the moon herself. Glowing pearls seem all the more lustrous set into a frame of sparkling diamonds. A ring of beautiful shapes and contrasts. Smooth, soft and very feminine. In platinum, ca. 1910
R1372 $2,250
Sweet! These might be our current favorite earrings. Chunky antique cushion cut diamonds get busy throwing big flashes of rainbow color and sparkle. Set in silver over gold, these magnificent earrings date from around 1870... Ooh, do we wish they could talk, (we want to hear about all the parties they've been to!). Approximately 4.48 carats total weight. Swoon.
mgm25 $11,600
Sleek, but certainly not subtle, (wow about sums it up). A whopping 43.75 carat delicate pink kunzite is set in platinum with marquis and round diamond accents on the shoulders. This ring is just so fun! Ca. 1960(?)
MGM28 $7,850
A sweet Art Deco filigree ring with lots of detail and a twinkling little .10ct. antique diamond. Born in the depression era, she is delicate... not a workhorse of a ring, but oh so charming. 18k ca. 1930
m1809 $600
A perfectly crisp and well executed design in Platinum with a very bright .56ct center diamond. The slender baguettes are a lovely contrast to the detailed triple prong corners, and all the elements neatly come together, just so, for a lively and well balanced presence on the hand. m1823
m1823 $3,200
A filigree ring with nice proportions and great engraved detail (we're especially fond of the little stylized flowers on the sides of the shank). 18k white gold graced with a .17ct diamond. Ca. 1930
m1769 $695
What a pretty stone! F in color, .91 cts, and just beautifully cut, the sparkle is fantastic. Neat lines of baguettes and tiny rounds are the perfect foil, resulting in a well proportioned and dazzling ring. Platinum ca.1940
M1829 $7,850
This sweet 18k white gold filigree ring is one of the crispest ones we've had in ages, and is in absolutely mint condition. It is "new old stock", meaning an original vintage mounting from the 1920's that was never sold. It came to us pure, with the original un-mounted top plate intact, and we had the honor of choosing a beautiful .45ct. stone for it.
M1811 $1,450
We are picky when it comes to marquis shaped stones. When cut poorly, they often have 2 dark triangles across their middle, an unfortunate effect called a "bow tie". When they are well cut, like this one, the result is a sleek torpedo of pure sparkle, fresh and graceful on the hand. Here, long thin baguettes only enhance the elegant lines. Platinum, ca. 1920
M1824 $2,750
Like a trip to a spa, every day, right there on your hand. The 7.23 carat natural sapphire pool is the most tranquil shade of pure shimmering blue, held in a classic 1950's platinum mounting with strong diamond shoulders. Be still, my heart.
R1384 $6,200
We love the way the design of this ring unfolds, building in subtle architectural levels. Clean lines with well edited details. Platinum and a dazzling 1.11ct old European cut diamond, ca. 1930.
M1815 $7,200
The centerpiece of this charming ring is a juicy, twinkling, natural red spinel. Yum. The crisp diamond and platinum border is a lovely accent, and the richness of the 18k shank pulls everything together. A well edited classic in a sexy shade. Ca.1920
R1850 $1,850
Dive right into this sleek and refreshing ring. Light ripples and plays through the 2.17ct. emerald cut center diamond, flanked by baguette diving boards.... (Ok, that's taking it too far). Really, such a terrific ring on the hand, all those flashing bars of light with the subtle curved shoulder details for contrast. Bold interest all across the finger. Not a ring for the meek. Platinum, Ca. 1940
M1796 $19,500
An exquisitely well crafted pin. 18K golden wings shimmer and glow under translucent matte red enamel while a burst of diamonds in oxidized silver radiate out from the twinkling body. Extremely well done in every respect, with a wingspan of over two and a half inches. Let him flutter onto your shoulder... He will become a favorite in your collection. Ca. 1960 (?)
P1103 $2,800
Guaranteed to make you smile as soon as you slip it on your finger! An absurdly happy and exuberant ring composed of individual sapphire and ruby centered daisies... Each of which moves! Goes great with cocktails, parties, and days that need a little extra oomph. 18K, ca. 1955.
R1254 $1,425
This wonderful and whimsical hand fabricated platinum mounting from the 1940's features curls and scallops and a fantastic architectural feel. It holds a 2.10 carat light fancy yellow antique cushion cut diamond that is especially good at throwing rainbows of color. What an exuberant ring!
M1804 $9,485
A lovely little platinum ring with well edited details. Just enough graphic deco-ness, smooth and comfortable on the hand, a beautiful .35ct. antique diamond. What's not to like? Ca. 1930
M1790 $1,950
What a great, architectural ring. Super crisp and in original mint condition, the hexagonal top portion features piercing and engraving in addition to a sweet .10ct diamond. A lot of great design for the money. 18k white gold, Ca. 1938
M1772 $975
One of our most asked about rings ever was nicknamed "vodka & cranberry". Here, a diminutive version, in 18kwhite gold, with crisp leafy detail in the under gallery, a bright diamond, and 2 juicy and brilliant red rubies. Ca. 1935.
sold
What a spectacular ring! The fine 1.42 carat sapphire is cut into an unusual octagonal shape that flashes electric blue fire. The mount is platinum, and has lots of interesting angular openwork... A very architectural example of early Art Deco, and a new staff favorite, ca. 1918.
R1346 $6,350
This beautiful, twinkling mounting features graceful sweeping lines and a sweet flourish of tracery nestling in the under gallery. Yes, such a special mounting deserves to hold an exceptional stone... In this case, a gorgeous 1.24ct E/VS1 diamond. A pleasure to behold from every angle.
M1758 $15,200

A luminous star sapphire and 6 bright old European cut diamonds are held in neo-gothic tracery of platinum worked over yellow gold. The "knife edge" style metalwork adds wonderful dimension. Ca.1918
N1269 $1,900
This tender enamel portrait of a cherub perfectly captures the sentimental best of the Victorian period. The portrait is hand painted on gold, then set into a stone background, with a tiny rose cut diamond accent. The mounting is beautifully sculpted 18k. Yellow gold. Ca.1865
R1229 $1,600
A beautifully proportioned pendant of gold, enamel, diamond, and a delicious 2.72ct. Precious topaz. Pink, gold and green enamels highlight the stylized lily motif to create a most feminine bauble to grace the neck. Some damage to the enamel but, hey, we should all look so stunning at 110! Ca.1900
N1363 $2,950
The lush color of rubellite, also known as red tourmaline, has been admired for centuries. Here, a juicy 3.90ct droplet of it is crowned with an antique flourish of diamonds set in platinum over yellow gold.
