Marie Antoinette
This ring holds the oldest diamond we have ever had the pleasure to enjoy in the shop. The center .71ct diamond was cut in the 18th century, (so yes, it truly could have appeared in Marie's court) It is a strikingly simple "table cut", which holds close to the natural shape of the raw crystal. It now resides in a minimalist Victorian mounting, flanked by a pair of chunky old mine cut stones. An exceptional and rare ring for lovers of early diamond cuts. 18K gold and platinum. Stone ca.1780, ring ca.1900.

Lovelace
This sweet 18k white gold filigree ring is one of the crispest ones we've had in ages, and is in absolutely mint condition. It is "new old stock", meaning an original vintage mounting from the 1920's that was never sold. It came to us pure, with the original un-mounted top plate intact, and we had the honor of choosing a beautiful .45ct. stone for it.

We are picky when it comes to marquis shaped stones. When cut poorly, they often have 2 dark triangles across their middle, an unfortunate effect called a "bow tie".
