A.B. and D.C. recently came in looking for an engagement ring. After trying on lots of styles, they were 99% sure they had found “the one”, but decided to sleep on it. They asked us to put the ring on hold for 24 hours (a courtesy we are happy to provide). First thing the next morning, DC called us, obviously distraught. She was calling from the car on the way to the emergency room. They wanted the ring, but might not be able to make it in that day, because she feared she had just broken a bone. Before even getting to the e.r., she called us and asked us if we could possibly extend the hold! One stabilized bone later, AB came in and picked up the ring so DC could wear it during her convalescence. We love that DC was so in enamored with the ring that she called us first, but remember, if this is a life threatening emergency, please hang up and dial 911.
